Crystal Quartz Geode + Dude Rocks Card

The Crystal Quartz Geode rock comes with a Dude Rocks informational card for your son to learn more about the stone. Here is what it says:

A geode is roughly spherical and has crystals on the interior, while the center is hollow. Geodes are formed when there are pockets of air trapped in sedimentary rock or in lava. Water seeps into the air pockets carrying different minerals with it. When the water evaporates, it leaves behind only the minerals. Over a time period of thousands and sometimes millions of years crystals form within the geodes from those minerals.
